‘Life is like a box of chocolates...’ and so says a very famous Gump.
Seriously? If life was a like a box of chocolates, would we all not die of diabetes?
Personally, for me, life is like that corner bargain box at a year end sale.
Now, that is where you can dig out any myriad of things and cheaply too, I may add.
To some, an item you managed to dig out may be an odd sized blouse or defected jeans; but to others, that very blouse may be the perfect fit they have been looking for or that pair of jeans may be of the funky quirk of a design that they need to look different.
Or perhaps, life is more like your neighbourhood flea market, where you can get both the old and the new, and you never tend to leave with the one thing you were initially looking for but with something totally different.
In other words, one will never know which card you will be dealt with. It could that ace you have been hoping for; or it may be just a joker....or, if you are lucky enough, God may just deal you with a random wild card......
Philosophical? naah...just mere ramblings
